4in1 Multiprotocol TX Module for Radios
This 4-in-1 TX module is suitable for X-Lite. It integrates four RF chips (CC2500, NRF24L01+, A7105, CYRF6936) into one single circuit board, it supports a variety of remote control protocols, such as Futabas S-FHSS, Walkera DEVO, Spektrum DSM2, DSMX, Flysky, FR5KY, WLToys, Hubsan, Hisky, Esky , Assan etc. You can control your model flexibility with it, and you will get much excellent experience with you favorite transmitter.
This module is compatible with the Multi-module project on github. It’s based on ARM microcontroller. All available protocols are included in serial mode. In this mode, it uses a serial protocol to communicate with your transmitter. The serial protocol does not require any hardware modifications, but you should update the firmware on your transmitter to the latest. Then the model protocol selection and binding is done from the Model Settings menu on your transmitter. For telemetry capable transmitters, the telemetry integration is done seamlessly with the transmitter firmware.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Which FrSky transmitters does this 4-in-1 module fit?
The FrSky 4-in-1 Multiprotocol TX Module is designed for the lite module bay found on FrSky radios including the X-Lite, X-Lite S, and the Taranis X9 Lite series. It is NOT compatible with the full-size JR module bay on transmitters like the Tandem X18 or X20 series. Browse compatible FrSky transmitters at https://www.fpvbuildsrc.com/frsky-transmitters.
What protocols does the 4-in-1 module support?
The module integrates four RF chips — CC2500, NRF24L01+, A7105, and CYRF6936 — that together cover a wide range of RC protocols including FrSky D8/D16, FlySky AFHDS, DSMX/DSM2, Futaba S-FHSS, Spektrum, and many more. This makes it the tool of choice for FrSky radio owners who want to fly aircraft originally bound to non-FrSky receivers without purchasing a separate transmitter for each protocol.
How do I bind the 4-in-1 module to a legacy aircraft?
Select the correct protocol for your aircraft's receiver in the transmitter's module settings (OpenTX or ETHOS depending on your radio). Then follow the standard bind procedure for that protocol — typically holding the bind button on the receiver while powering up, then confirming bind on the transmitter. The exact steps vary per protocol. Refer to the OpenTX or ETHOS documentation for protocol-specific bind procedures.
Can I use this module to fly aircraft with FlySky or Spektrum receivers?
Yes. The 4-in-1 module's CC2500 chip covers FrSky protocols and FlySky AFHDS (A7105 chip), while the CYRF6936 handles Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 and Walkera. This makes it practical for club pilots who fly a mix of aircraft brands and don't want separate transmitters for each brand's protocol.
Does this module work with the FrSky Twin X-Lite S?
The Twin X-Lite S has a built-in TW (Twin dual 2.4GHz) RF module and also supports an external lite-bay module for adding a second protocol. The 4-in-1 Multiprotocol module fits the X-Lite S lite module bay, enabling legacy protocol support alongside the built-in TW system. Browse TW-compatible receivers at https://www.fpvbuildsrc.com/frsky-receivers.
Does FPV Builds RC offer setup support for the 4-in-1 module?
Yes. FPV Builds RC is a U.S.-based FrSky dealer and our team can help with module installation, protocol selection, and bind procedures for popular receiver types. Browse all FrSky transmitters and modules at https://www.fpvbuildsrc.com/frsky.
