Frequently Asked Questions
Is the KAVAN Pulse 2200 V2 suitable for beginners?
No. The Pulse 2200 V2 is intended for pilots who already have experience flying aileron-equipped RC aircraft. KAVAN recommends learning on a trainer such as the Beta 1400 or Alpha 1500 before moving to this model.
Can the Pulse 2200 V2 be flown on the slope?
Yes. Its efficient airfoil, full-house wing, and carbon-reinforced structure make it an excellent slope soaring aircraft in suitable wind conditions.
Does it have flaps?
Yes. The Pulse features independent ailerons and flaps, allowing advanced programming including crow braking and camber settings.
What battery should I use?
We recommend a quality 4S LiPo between 2600 and 4000 mAh with at least a 30C discharge rating.
What receiver do you recommend?
Our preferred receiver is the FrSky TD SR10, which provides excellent reliability, telemetry, and stabilization options for pilots using FrSky Tandem transmitters.
Is assembly difficult?
No. The PNP version is largely preassembled. Final assembly is straightforward and can typically be completed in a short amount of time following the included instruction manual.
